Halloween Countdown: 23 Sleeps!

My mom found the coolest Halloween activity on Pinterest this morning, and my sister Amelia and I are excited to give these Ghost Rockets a try this afternoon—well, if the weather gets better, because this project is definitely for outside.

Don't these look awesome?

They're easy too! All you need is an empty film canister (or something about the same size), corn starch, a black Sharpie, Alka Seltzer, and a stir stick.

Start by drawing ghost faces on your canister.

Once the ghost face is dry, add some corn starch to each, and then fill about ⅓ of the way with water. Stir it up.

Take a piece of Alka Seltzer and break it into three or four pieces. Drop a piece into the canister, put the lid on, and flip it upside down. Set it on the ground and stand back!

I am so excited to see these ghost rockets go flying! Click here to see the original Pinterest post with full directions.

Gotta jet! Have a spooktacular day!
