Brrrr. It's chilly outside! A perfect day to stay indoors and do some Halloween crafting—if I didn't have to go to school, of course.
I couldn't find an appropriate Halloween Countdown image today (and I am terrible at graphics programs on the computer), but for today's post I'm sharing these awesome mummy lanterns—which I plan on making with my sister tonight. Mom loves candles and twinkle lights all around the house.
I know, these mummies aren't creepy, but they look so neat when they're lit up and they're easy to make. You could even use them to line your sidewalk, or put them on your steps Halloween night so the kids in your neighbourhood know where to find the treats.
So how do you make them? Easy. Use either strands of tissue paper or medical gauze to wrap around your empty (and clean) Mason jars. Glue on some dollar store google eyes. And voila! You can use flameless candles too.
And that's a wrap on today's post. <grin> Gotta jet, but I'll see you tomorrow for more of my spooktacular Halloween Countdown.
