I'm super excited to be testing my blogging stamina by taking part in the A-Z Blogging Challenge. Started by the awesome Arlee Bird, the challenge is to write a post every day of the month (except Sundays) based on the appropriate letter for the day. Sound confusing? Stick with me throughout April and you'll get it. My theme is: Things that inspire me.

I don’t know about you, but when I look up at the sky, I can’t help but wonder what’s above the clouds, beyond the Earth’s atmosphere.
If you
read any astronomy books, Google search pictures, or follow astronaut Chris
Hadfield’s Twitter pictures, you get a general idea of “space” – but the
universe is really, really big. I mean, seriously big! Pictures don’t do it
justice.
Have you
ever thought about what it would be like to explore the universe? To float
around with the meteors and asteroids, hang out on planet Mars, or race around
the stars? I have so many questions – like whether the world’s biggest diamond
mine is actually somewhere in the universe. I read an article once that said it
rains diamonds in the planet Neptune’s atmosphere. How cool would that be?
If I
could have any job in the world, I
think it might be as an urban explorer – of the universe.
Anything YOU want
to know about the universe?
Gotta
jet!

Whether intelligent life exists other than earth.
ReplyDeleteThe sheer vastness of it all truly boggles my mind. One could sit for hours just contemplating the universe and all that comes along with it.
